We upgraded from Arthur to TAB dental 4 months ago and have been very happy with the performance of the new software to date. The software has been a significant step forwards in enhancing the efficiency of our solely private practice. TAB upgraded our hardware with a dedicated server connected to 6 workstations combined with a remote access facility. The data conversion was done smoothly over a weekend and after one day of training we were up and running. Adam and Bob stayed at the practice for the first day of TAB to smooth out any issues as they occurred. The level of hardware and software support we received immediately after the installation and subsequently has been very impressive. The phone at TAB has been answered promptly and problems have been dealt with swiftly and usually on the spot via remote access. Overall the system seems to be stable with hardly any freezing up or crashing. The cost of the TAB software, hardware and installation was extremely competitive and in our opinion was unrivalled by any other company at that time.

Why TAB? Well we have had one of the major supplier for IT now for some 6 years but felt that it did not deliver what we wanted from it. It was getting ever complicated and and not achieving what we wanted from it as a practice. We researched a lot of software suppliers and evaluated on various fronts.

We have now been using the TAB system for just over 3 months in our new squat practice and it has been a great success. Mark was always available to discuss any questions during when we were considering purchasing the software. The software is easy to use and our staff, two of whom have had no experience in Dental software have taken to it very easily. One member of staff was very apprehensive of using a computer system having not used one regularly in a 30 year dental nursing career. She was surprised at how easy it was to use.
The initial training was excellent and not too overwhelming and the support team to date have been great. The remote support facility is excellent. I recently left my employer of many years and went to help set up a new Private Nottingham Dental Practice and one of the first things I said I wanted was TAB Dental System.
I have worked on three different dental software systems in the past and TAB is the most straight forward, user friendly and reliable system.
If there was anything on the system I was not familiar with I would call them and they would either talk me through how to do something or remote dial in and show me how to work it.
I really like the remote dial in system because when there are any problems and you running a busy practice you can leave the guys to sort the problem and you can be getting on with other jobs. Many things that seem like a major problem to us are often only minor to them and are often sorted in minutes.
The Customer Service Team are always friendly and are happy to help. They talk to me in a manner I understand and dont get to Technical unless they are sure I understand them.
The whole team is great from The Management right down the line.
I would not have insisted on using them at my new Practice if I had not been happy with the level of service they provided.
I would recommend the company to anybody thinking of changing their Software provider.
