Evolve Dentistry Case Study

I opened Evolve Dentistry in January 2009 as a private squat. As it was a new practice start up I has the opportunity to choose all my equipment and systems rather than inherit them from a previous owner. I researched various practice management systems and talked to many other dental professionals.

The main message that I got from almost everyone that I spoke to was that the customer service of some of the bigger providers was less than satisfactory. With this in mind I spoke to boys at Tab Dental. From the outset I found them to brilliant to deal with, they completely understood my requirements and were very competively priced. At all times very helpful and quick to respond to any queries.

Whilst Tab can provide and install the hardware, I decided to only use them for the software, they were great liaising with the hardware people and process went smoothly. Once the system was installed in a matter of a couple of hours, the training began. This took about a day and was very straightforward. There were a few teething problems at the start but Tab were always quick to respond, any urgent issues were solved there and then on the phone.

I find the system easy to use and allows me quickly to monitor all aspects of the diary, at the click of my mouse I know how many patients we have seen, what marketing is working and how the accounts are looking. It's easy to integrate other mediums into the sytem such as digital ragiography, intra and extra oral pictures and emaill them to colleagues, and I am probably still not using the system to it's full capacity.

Our attendance rate is good as we remind all patients via text messge about their appointments, again suggested and integrated by Tab. I particuarly like that the figure that was quoted is the one that I paid, I am not charged for any additional links, integrations or upgrades.

I have recommended Tab to other dentists and will continue to do so as I am delighted with my choice of practice management system.
