Why Harewood Dental Surgery chose TAB Dental

Like many practices we wanted to find a software programme that was easy for our staff to use and relevant to what we needed as a mid sized almost totally private practice.

A look at the competition

I looked at all the usual companies and was staggered at the price of the software. Many of the features were, realistically, unlikely to be used much in the day to day running of our practice. The ongoing support fees were huge. These companies change hands regularly and the dentist is left with a defunct system which cannot be upgraded to newer operating systems, they have no choice but to start all over again. It seemed to me that the software companies didn't seem keen to improve this situation.

Meeting with TAB Dental

We learnt of TAB through an equipment rep who had worked with them before. TAB were approachable, not patronising and relevant. They gave a no nonsense presentation and a quote that was approximately 50% less than one from a major software company.

TAB worked closely with our IT support Company to achieve a smooth transition to a fully computerised practice. There was no hard sell, just a great product at a fraction of the set up cost and ongoing support costs as all the other companies.

TAB staff are friendly and always available they never make us feel like idiots when we make silly errors! They are incredibly approachable, and as a relatively small company they know you and they respect you for giving them your business.

Thoughts on the software

We are absolutely delighted with this system. It is simple to navigate, relevant to what we need and flexible. TAB have ongoing updates to constantly improve their product and we have been able to customise the software to suit our practice needs.

Recommendations

TAB have been a pleasure to work with and have brought huge improvements to the efficiency and running of my practice. Their remote access facility ensures that problems are sorted immediately. I would strongly recommend that you speak to TAB if you are thinking of installing new software systems in your practice. I feel that I have paid the right price for a great product.
